Superbowl held their annual Christmas bowling party, the “Christmas Cracker Pairs” which was, as always, well supported.

Twenty four teams played in two sections playing three alternate 1 hour sessions and involved players of all ability levels including some who started playing in the very popular Pro-Am tournaments held during the summer.

Going into the final round of games more than half the pairs were still in with a good chance of winning but in the end three teams were tied on 22 points, Mike Goodwin and Dave Pittel, Denis Tolfree and Pat Fisher along with Geoff and Doreen Land. Mike and Dave had an inferior shots difference to the others who could not be separated so it came down to a one bowl shoot out between the two skips with Geoff Land prevailing.

Prizes were awarded to the best festive dress for men and ladies.
